Today we read Antonyms, Synonyms, and Homonyms and reviewed synonyms.  We also talked about subject/verb agreement and how to use to, too, and two correctly.  We added a new idea sheet with our hopes and fears to the idea section of our writing notebook.  We also started our ‘scary’ story to go with our photobook pictures.  In math we talked about subtracting a numbers from itself and subtracting zero.  We also played a hundreds grid game to practice our addition facts.  We read The Story of Columbus and began our Columbus project.
