It was another fabulous day in 2nd grade.  Today we continued reading from the Black Lagoon series with The Librarian from the Black Lagoon.  We discussed the story elements from this book.  We added more idea wheels to our writing notebook and talked about ‘tacky expression’ that we should NEVER use in our writing.  In math, we reviewed place value and learned about putting numbers in numerical order using a number line.  We also reviewed putting words in ABC order.  Today was our first day this year to visit the library and we were able to check out our first book.  It was an exciting day!
