Today in math we reviewed comparing numbers to 999 and we talked about three dimensional figures.  We looked at spheres, cubes, pyramids, cones, cylinders, and rectangular prisms.  We also met with our literature circles and continued reading our chapter books and practiced writing summaries.  In writing we wrote about what we would do if we didn’t have school today and I think a lot of us would still be sleeping.  We also practiced our ‘no excuse’ words by using them in sentences.  We worked to make sure that we were writing ‘2nd’ grade sentences and using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  We finished up by watching a short video on the human body and finished our healthy bodies activity.  Make sure that if you are missing a jacket, coat, backpack, etc. that you check the lost and found because all items not claimed will be donated.
