Today we reviewed synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms and took a quiz. We also made Synonym wordles which can be viewed below. In writing we continued working on our scary stories and many kiddos are starting the editing process and conferencing. In math we practiced our addition and subtraction facts. We also watched a BrainPop video on Christopher Columbus and took a quiz over it and all the books we have read this week about him. Our canned food drive starts on Tuesday and I encourage everyone to make it a point to send in cans of food for those in need. Remember that there is no school on Monday in observation of Columbus Day. Have a great LONG weekend.
