We had a great and busy day today.  We reviewed story elements and read the story The Mud Pony.  Then, after we read with our partners, we did our word work.  This was a lot of fun.  We were able to choose if we wanted to use magnets, stamps, stencils, markers, or Wikki Sticks to practice our words.  In writing we reviewed adding s and es to word to make them plural and we review common and proper nouns.  Tomorrow we will have a noun quiz.  We also read the story Sylvester and the Magic Pebbleand started webbing a new story about finding a pebble and making a wish.  In math, we reviewed for our upcoming test and did number corner.  In science, we did our daily observation of the weather outside and talked about temperature and themometers.
